SCRATCH MY BUTT

Life came at me like an avalanche! The pandemic, the loss of several friends, home hospice and loss of my mother and many family struggles. I even had to euthanize my two dogs. I lost it. I was no longer able to be an effective teacher to students with emotional and behavioral disorders. My classroom became toxic. I had to walk away.

A new dog, Kevin ( named after our virtual mascot in Google Classroom), saved my life, restored motivation and purpose. He also served as inspiration to forge a new life. Here it is! Here's to Kevin (and now Hobbes as well)
